Review by hotel critic
After a thoughtful stay at Grand Litava, I must say, the value proposition here is a mixed bag. The room service was prompt, but the amenities were quite basic. Housekeeping was adequate, yet not meticulous. The highlight was the free toiletries provided, a nice touch. While the hotel offers a fitness center, the dated decor throughout the property might not be everyone's cup of tea. The paid airport shuttle service was convenient, but the lack of soundproofed rooms was a downside for light sleepers like myself. On the upside, the welcome drink upon arrival was a pleasant gesture. The staff's friendliness added charm to the overall experience. The Wi-Fi was reliable for my research needs but be prepared for paid parking. In the end, if you're seeking a no-frills stay with a pinch of traditional charm, Grand Litava might fit the bill. However, for a touch of luxury, you may need to look elsewhere. As a historian who appreciates medieval architecture, the value-for-money aspect was satisfactory, but the search for true opulence continues.
